This Wednesday's Brown Bag – March 11

This Wednesday SLIS student Jeffery Austin will take the reins of the brown bag presentation and tell us about his recent poster presentation at a conference. If you’ve ever wanted to know the mechanics of creating and submitting a poster for a conference, now is your time to find out.

Brown bags are informal get-togethers where SLIS students can discuss issues surrounding professional librarianship.

This week’s brown bag will be in CIS 2020 on Wednesday, March 11 at 1-2pm. Bring your questions and your lunch.

Next week there will be no brown bag because we’ll all be off celebrating Spring Break (i.e. writing papers).

The Wednesday following Spring Break will be the USF SLIS student org book sale in front of the Tampa campus main library. If you have any books to donate please bring them by the GA office in CIS. Thanks!

We have at least two, and maybe three, brown bags in April, and then we’ll be asking for your feedback on how we can improve the series for the Fall semester.
